5 Things I Love Meme

by Marye Audet on July 16th, 2008

I spent the day antiquing and came home to find that I had been tagged for a meme by Susan of Happy Hearts at Home. I have to list five things I love and tag five more people…so…I am tagging the following:

Jen from Reflections in the Window

Vee at A Haven for Vee

Inge at Vanielje Kitchen

Jen ofA2eatwrite even though she wont be blogging for a few days

And, the very talented Ivory Spring

Now..my five things I love…besides my kids and husband and grandkids and son in law…which is far far beyond five…

I have to pick five only? GARGH!

O.k…Breathe…..

First…

I love Christmas at our house. I love the decorating ( we do a tree in each room and this is a big house…), the music, the food…oh my, all of it. I love a crackling fire, a warm quilt and all of the bright cards and excitement…

I love antiquing! I love going and looking at all the cool stuff..and it usually is easy to pick up just a small thing as a wonderful memory of the day…

I love tea parties and setting pretty tea tables

I love my house. It isn’t finished yet. We are restoring a 100 year old farmhouse and there is alot to be done..but I love it..I love the book shelves (LOTS OF THEM!!), I love the floors..the porch…and the things I have finished.

Thanks, Marye! I love a good tag and this fills the bill. I’ll let you know when I put it up.

I loved yours…what a beautiful home you have and, having loved an old home and restored it, I know how much one can love such a place. It’s obvious here!
