Checking in on the Adrenals
So I haven’t updated you guys in awhile on the adrenal thing.
I haven’t been walking like I was. Which excuse do you want? I barely have time to take a shower these days. The weather got cold and it was just…nahhhhh.
But I have still been working on my outlook, the way I see myself. I have had soem setbacks but all in all it has been moving forward steadily. I am still taking hte adrenal support herbs and my finger nails are growing on their own. YAY!
On the other hand I just realized today that my hair is still breaking off in the back..so I end up with long sides and a short back…time to go get a trim. I wish I could figure out what was up with that.
I started a low carb diet last Monday. Low carb seems to work well for weakened adrenal system because it keeps your blood sugar even and your insulin from gushing (or how ever you want to say that). I have lost about 7 lbs since last Monday. Hopefully that is a trend that will continue. Most of that is in my belly so I know that it has to do with the stress level/adrenal fatigue.
YAY! Not huge improvements but…improvements. It is hard, even for me, to keep in mind that herbs take time and overnight changes don’t happen very often!
