The Simple Woman’s Day Book:July 21

by Marye Audet on July 21st, 2008

 simple Woman’s Day book

I love Mondays! I love reading everyone’s daybook entries, and thinking about my own.

If you want to read more day book entries check out The Simple Woman’s Day Book.

For Today…

Outside my Window….The sun is shinging brightly but it is quiet..it is too hot even for the birds to do much other than try to find relief in the shade!

I am thinking…I need to overhaul my life and make some changes

I am thankful for…So thankful to be back at our home church.

From the kitchen…Canning stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce, have to finish the plum jam.

I am creating…planning a quilt to make with Shiloh.  Her first!

I am going…Maybe coffee with Marc later
I am wearing… Tan yoga pants and a red tank…barefoot as usual!

I am reading…The Fourth Dimension by Dr.Paul Cho
I am hoping…An item I am waiting for gets here soon.

I am hearing…Kids playing. My daughter, son in law, and grandkids will be moving to their own place soon..both a happy and sad thing!

Around the house…piles everywhere
One of my favorite things…Monday nights..everyone but me heads out to church activities!

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Woring on blogs, cleaning, praying thorugh some tough personal issues.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…an antique teacup I picked up antiquing last week.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. We are being granted a brief respite from our normally 115 degree days so I am thankful for any amount of cool, even if cool now means 85. :-D

I love your tea cup. It’s gorgeous. What a great find.

I am thinking…I need to overhaul my life and make some changes

Don’t/Aren’t we all thinking that much if not most of the time? I have/am.

I’ve concluded that we are where we are (in every respect) because that’s EXACTLY where we need to be for our highest and greatest good at this time. So, I’m trying to see that, accept it, release it and move on.

Thank you so much for coming to visit my blog! It is a very humid evening here now - they say it’s going to get warmer and warmer as the week moves on!
Wales is a beautiful country - it’s hard to think that I’ve now lived in England for longer than I lived in Wales!! LOL! But it’ll always be “home”.
    God bless,

“…praying thorugh some tough personal issues.”

I realize we don’t really know each other Marye, and it is probably weird to pray for a blog author you don’t know, but I am praying that G-d reveals the wisdom you need to deal with these issues. :-)

Oh, the tea cup is so delicate! I love the base of it. Making the quilt will be fun. I want to do some sewing with dd14 when our homeschool starts again in September. It’s been many years since I used a sewing machine. Thanks for commenting on my Daybook!

    Marye!

Thank you so much for the kind words you left on my page July 21…many apologies for being so tardy to reply. It’s been a hectic two weeks with ‘my’ girls and this is the first quiet moment I’ve had.

I am enjoying all your blogs very much and will look forward to reading your Daybook regularly!

    Take care,
    Jodie
